Dr. John Howell Jr.
Dr. Howell was born and raised in Magnolia, Arkansas. After completing his B.S. degree in biology, he spent the next ten years in retail businesses.
Afterwards, he returned with his family to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where he completed his D.D.S. degree, graduating with honors in 1992, receiving multiple awards in different disciplines.
Following one year of general dentistry practice in Searcy, Arkansas and clinical instructor at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, Dr. Howell returned to the VA Medical Center where he completed his Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1995.
Upon completion of his specialty training, Dr. Howell moved with his family to Central Arkansas where he began his private specialty practice of Prosthodontics. He has been in the same location in central Arkansas over 25 years. Between him and his staff, there is over 60 years of patient care.
The goal of Dr. Howell and his staff is to provide excellence in patient care by offering patients multiple treatment options and helping them decide what is best for their situation. In keeping up with the most current scientifically and clinically proven materials and techniques, Dr. Howell has logged over 1,200 hours of continuing education.
Dr. Howell is an active member of The American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, International Academy of Gnathology, Academy of Osseointegration and local study club.
